Heart & Stroke NB’s mission is to improve the health of people in New Brunswick by decreasing risk factors for heart disease and stroke.
For the last number of years, Irving Consumer Products, in partnership with other J.D. Irving, Limited companies, has been a sponsor of various Heart & Stroke NB fundraisers, including Hockey Heroes, Heart Truth, and the Big Bike. Funds raised from these initiatives support Heart & Stroke NB’s top priority to invest in life-saving research that leads to medical breakthroughs.
Heart & Stroke NB measures its overall effectiveness by its ability to drive change in priority areas related to new knowledge and innovation, health policies, health systems, and support programs for people at risk of or living with heart conditions.
